How did you get started in the motor repair industry? I was looking for a temporary job while I finished college and found a job ad for Jay Industrial and wound up enjoying it so much that I stayed on even after I finished school.
What is your favorite thing about working for Jay? The way that everyone I work with seems to take pride in their job and genuinely wants to help out the customers. It’s very refreshing to work at a place like that!
Who has been the most impactful person in your career at Jay? I would have to say Ronnie Norris
What is your favorite sports team? The New Orleans Saints and the Atlanta Braves
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be a Marine Biologist
What is your favorite holiday? That’s a tough one but I’d have to say Christmas.
What is the best vacation you have ever been on? I can’t pick just one, but for the last few years, my wife and I have been going to Mexico with some friends, and it’s always an amazing time!
Do you have any siblings? I have two younger sisters and a younger brother.
Do you have any kids? Grandkids? My and my wife’s first child is due on May 7th! His name is Holden.
Do you have any pets? We have two dogs, a Boykin Spaniel named Brees and a Great Pyrenees named Maddie.
What are some of your hobbies? I enjoy hunting, fishing, kayaking, and really anything outdoors. I’m also a big fan of live music and go to a lot of concerts
Who’s your personal hero? My Dad. I wouldn’t be who I am today without his example and guidance.
What was your first job? I worked in the maintenance department at Point Mallard Aquatic Center in Decatur, AL
