Meet our Corporate Controller, Brandon Green!

Brandon joined Jay Industrial Repair in 2016 after leaving the automotive industry. As corporate controller, he consolidates the company’s financials, in tandem with the CFO, for all five locations and the relevant tasks therein – including tax submissions and financial review and analysis. He also manages the corporate fleet, the T&E card program, and the biannual physical inventory review and reconciliation. One of his favorite things about working for Jay Industrial is the positive outlook, work-life balance, and family focus with attention being placed on the well-being of the employees.

Originally from Rome, Georgia – Brandon attended Auburn University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Brandon met his wife, Jana, while attending Auburn. They currently reside in Birmingham with their two dogs. We asked Brandon several questions to get to know him a little better. Check out his answers below!

• Who has been the most impactful person in your career at Jay?
  Our CFO, Kristina Wilson. I would not be in the position I am in without her.
  
• Who’s your personal hero?
  My father. He worked for 26 years on 3rd shift to make sure I – a type 1 diabetic – always had a parent available should the need arise. He also never missed a school event or sport that I was involved with. To this day, I cannot comprehend how he was able to do so much on so little sleep.
  
• What are you most proud of?
  Graduating from Auburn!
  
• What is your favorite holiday?
  Labor Day – it signals college football season is back!
