• Observe and adhere to Jay Industrial Repair safety procedures.
• Maintain Jay Industrial Repair quality standards
• Rewind electric motors, stators and armatures
• Inspect equipment and parts for damage, diagnose possible reason(s) for failure
• Provide information on parts/work required
• Provide recommendations to improve reliability of equipment
• Complete information in reports as required
• Proficient knowledge of the different winding connections, insulations and welding/soldering
• Highly skill with testing equipment (ex. Baker, PdMA, Core Tester, Infrared Camera)
• Data collection, recording and verification

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years experience specifically in winding AC/DC electric motor stators, both random and form coil, armatures, and field frames
• Significant mechanical knowledge and/or experience
• Highly motivated self-performer with good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Basic computer skills
